The primarily responsibility of the loss prevention specialist is to assist in the protection of the company assets, and providing a high level of customer service. These include, but are not limited to, the employees, customers, property, merchandise, and money. The LP specialist prevents unauthorized removal of merchandise through the perimeter exits. Additionally they must ensure that policies and procedures of the company are adhered to. As needed the LP specialist will receive guidance and training from both the manager of the uniform guard personnel and the guard supervisor. Where applicable, the LP specialist must complete all requirements of the NYS guard act certification and training. Deliver outstanding customer service during events, knowledgeable about store and services throughout the building. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
