Position
Summary: CCFA seeks an Endurance Manager for Long Island Chapter encompassing Nassau and Suffolk counties. The Endurance Manager is responsible for marketing, recruiting, fundraising and logistics to guarantee success of the campaign. Additionally, this position works with each individual participant to ensure their fundraising success.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate and implement elements of promotional and marketing activities to create brand awareness and generate program interest
Execute informational meetings and presentations involving public speaking
Recruit and manage volunteers helping to motivate and support them in achieving their fundraising and training goals
Create new and utilize current fundraising materials required for successful implementation for campaign
Implement logistics for event weekend and assigned special events
Prepare and maintain assigned campaign correspondence records and statistical reports on a regular basis
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree required
Skilled in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Marketing, sales and/or peer to peer fundraising experience in the Greater Long Island market is preferred
Ability to work some nights and weekends
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary
Team player
Ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities effectively
Self-motivated
Strong and written verbal communications required
Public speaking experience is a plus
Travel is required during some weeknights and weekends
Energetic team player and positive attitude
Local candidates with market knowledge strongly preferred
Passion for sports and/or endurance training a plus
