Personal Lines Account Executive - Long Island
Summary: Prepare applications and marketing strategy for new business as well as the renewals of assigned clients with some degree of supervision and approval from the Manager on difficult lines. Has an assigned book of business and provides ongoing service to designated clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

1. Check accuracy of policies, endorsements, audits, etc. received from insurance companies.
2. Daily correspondence, email, faxes, mail and policy checking. Send binders/diaries.
3. Responsible for Non-renewals:
a. Timely contacting of insureds
b. Replacement if possible
4. Day to day contact with insureds regarding any changes and or questions.
5. Placing and securing coverages for new exposures to an existing. Process applications.
6. Input account detail into computer, or document account activity and await download.
7. Prepare renewal proposals for presentation to client, as well as new business proposals to be reviewed by Manager.
8. Responsible for follow up with clients for information.
9. Prepare schedules of insurance.
10. Review requests for certificates of insurance and decide appropriate action.
11. Complete coverage checklist and make recommendations.
12. Assist claims department with claim problems on coverage issues.
13. Recommend new and additional coverages and obtain quotes.
14. Compare insurance contracts between various carriers.
16. Monitor all stages and implement loss control measures or changes as necessary on Certificates of Coverage.
17. Remarketing

Must be computer literate with good Word and Excel skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
