Assistant General Counsel - Auto Lending Originations
The candidate will advise company on matters regarding originations of indirect auto loans, dealer management and manufacturer partnerships. Will counsel and assist the Consumer Auto Finance business on a variety of strategic and tactical issues. Provide legal advice regarding product development, industry laws and regulations, marketing, dealer management, credit and risk, and other business matters. Negotiate and document contracts with significant key manufacturer and dealer clients and other strategic business partners. Participate in various control, compliance and risk initiatives that affect the Consumer Auto Finance business. Track and work with the business to implement changes responsive to new federal and state legal and regulatory requirements. Participate in cross-line of business initiatives and working with other legal teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of laws across Consumer and Community Banking, as appropriate.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
