This is a Full-Time position in person.
You must have experience handling the calendar at a personal injury law firm.
The core duties and responsibilities of the Calendar Clerk revolves around the maintaining and creating the Law Office Calendar and assisting partially in legal assistant duties.
Coordinate court dates, mediations, arbitrations, and appointments.
Schedule and confirm depositions, court reports and translators with clients, attorneys, and paralegals assigned to the case.
Prepare Law office calendar and distribute the calendar timely.
Review all incoming case emails from NYSCEF to proper assignment on calendar.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Communicating with Lawyers, paralegals, and clients to keep everyone up to date.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Enter/Scan information and documents into Case Management system.
