The Practice Administrative Assistant assumes administrative roles involving duties and responsibilities commonly assigned to an entry-level position.

Bachelor's degree or working towards a bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.
0 Minimum of one year experience in an office environment; medical office experience is a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office:

) RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
Supports both the clinical & non-clinical department Directors and takes part in various organizational projects for Nursing Department Dynamically schedules events and meetings for outside vendors as well as various internal individuals and groups (Board Of Directors, Executive Committee, brownbag, lunch and learn) Scans, organizes, and files Nursing Credentials into our EMR (Nextech); Notifies Nurses about expiring credentials; Keeps track of all continuing education requirements for clinical team; Maintains tracking spreadsheet Responsible for maintenance and organization of medical records and charts Scans, organizes, and files Nursing Credentials into our EMR (Nextech); Notifies Nurses about expiring credentials; Keeps track of all continuing education requirements for clinical team; Maintains tracking spreadsheet Responsible for maintenance and organization of medical records and charts Coordinate travel plans for outside conferences for the Executive Director, Director of Nursing and clinical staff Track, calculate, organize statistics/data.
Assures patient confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA regulations and patient dignity guidelines.
