We currently have a career opportunity available for an experienced Housekeeping Houseman.
Summary of
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Remove soiled linen and terry from housekeeping carts Remove garbage from housekeeping carts and replace with new liner Deliver supplies to housekeepers in a timely manner Deliver items to guest rooms upon request from guests or the front desk using brand service standards Maintain cleanliness of guest hallways by vacuuming, dusting, and reporting damage to maintenance Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping storage and work areas by removing garbage, laundry, dirty dishes, and restocking supplies Wash and return glasses to housekeepers using proper equipment and sanitization processes according to brand standards Maintain cleanliness of main garbage/recycling area of the hotel Sign in and out master keys daily Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office Follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards Report necessary maintenance items Follow all safety and sanitation policies Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have high volume cleaning experience Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, or more Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Full Time
