is looking for energetic and reliable route service assistants for the Garden City location.
The Route Service Assistant (RSA) will assist the Driver with moving merchandise from one location to another in an accurate, timely fashion.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Assists the driver with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
Assists the driver with delivering merchandise to customer locations.
Assists the driver with pick-up of soil goods.
Maintains a clean, organized company vehicle.
Performs other services as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to learn procedures and follow direction.
Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Basic math skills Education and
Experience:
Valid drivers' license preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds regularly.
Must be able to load and unload merchandise without bins, carts or dollies in any type of weather.
Must be able to bend, twist reach and grasp.
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs while carrying bundles of merchandise.
